Happy, that´s how this kids were when I took them them the pictures they wanted (and I wanted too). This was one of those strange episodes in Asia, they didn´t speak english, we didn´t speak their language, but we managed to communacate. And this is they and I happy.
A couple of weeks ago, before the snow arrived to town, we went out for lunch and a beautiful walk on the bay, me and my love. That was one of the days I always remember when feeling down. I was so happy, having lunch with my boyfriend, take a walk on the bay, enjoying the winter sun, taking pictures with my Holga (for the first time!). Just perfect. These are the moments that make me remember that this is all I need, to spend a nice time with the love of my life (and if I can take pics meanwhile, that´s better!).
A friend of mine once told me: ¨Maybe you expect too much from life¨, when I heard that I was like: ¨What?! Of course I expect a lot from life, I´m still in my 20´s, I´m supposed to expect a lot from life!¨. Years pass under the bridge, (fortunately I´m still in my 20´s, not too late) and I think this is what he meant. This is happiness for me.
This is us.
I particularly like this one, looks like it could be taken from an helicopter, but actually it was taken from 20 cm above the ground.
I like to photograph almost everything (I say ¨almost¨ just in case), but as most of the times happens, there´s a favourite, the are things we particulary enjoy photographing. Here´s mine, one thing I really enjoy shooting is people I don´t know, specially when they don´t see me shooting. I find those shots so fresh, and spontaneous that I love them!
Even in this case, in the rush not to be seen the focus is in the leaves, I like the picture.
